Join Cape Cod’s own host, singer-songwriter Kami Lyle, for a series of unique evenings in 2016 welcoming her favorite singer-songwriters from around the country.  Upcoming singer-songwriters are John Sebastian February 6th 2016, Steve Earle February 27th all at Cotuit Center for the Arts. Future guests and locations include Lisa Loeb, M. Ward, Gretchen Peters, Gillian Welch and Dave Rawlings, Al Anderson at locations around Cape Cod and the Islands.
What is a Sit-A-While? A Sit-A-While is an evening of great music and a gathering of national musical celebrities set in a variety of cozy, ocean side settings across Cape Cod. Each Sit-A-While showcases Cape Cod's beautiful venues as we move around to different towns. Our popular guests will perform their favorite songs in a round with custom musical jingles for our sponsors interspersed with stories, skits performed by the Cape’s prominent business owners, and more great music! We have teamed up with international radio station WMVY to broadcast and promote the shows on their website and with cable television Live From Center Stage to video tape and broadcast. Our goal is to eventually promote The Sit-A-While to international audiences—a major visitor group to Cape Cod.
Become A Sponsor of The Sit-A-While: Becoming a sponsor of Sit-A-While gives your organization or business broad exposure throughout the Cape & Islands and beyond in the locations where The Sit-A-While is being held, as well as virtual exposure through cable television, radio and social media.

The Kami Lyle Sit-A-While capitalizes on Cape Cod as a brand name and international vacation destination, and showcases the beauty of the Cape by including visits by the artists to towns across the Cape. This combination of the artists' name recognition and the popularity of the Cape as an international vacation destination is enough to garner international appeal.

We will coordinate with the sponsor for each event to maximize sponsor's visibility and accessibility to patrons through placement of organization's banner, literature, by providing a dedicated sponsor table. (May vary due to logistics of each event.)
